The hotel is centrally located on a street that runs parallel to the main harbour road and about 15 minutes walk to the cathedral and the bustling bars and restaurants in La Lonja. Visit the expensive but must see Abaco bar for a cocktail.
On arrival we were greeted by efficient and exceptionally friendly staff at the small reception desk and shown to our large room; complete with TV, mini-bar, chargeable safe and abundance of wardrobe space. The bathroom with twin sinks and Jacuzzi bath, with shower over, was equally as spacious.
An extra bonus for a city centre hotel was the small outdoor pool area, with sunbeds (free beach towels available at reception). Additionally, the hotel has an indoor pool area.
Breakfast was served in a light and airy first floor restaurant, with a good variety of hot & cold food.
Parking is available on the street outside, or if no spaces available there is a public underground car park adjacent.
The number 1 bus from the airport stops almost outside the hotel on the main promenade road, as do the main buses to the beaches at Palma Nova etc. Bus stops are adjacent to Burger King. Public transport (buses) are extremely efficient in Mallorca.
The hotel is a high end 3 star by UK standards, not a 4 star; but don't let that put you off.
