The Armadams is a very good basic hotel - i.e. it is very clean, good rooms (although basic), good service, and not a bad location. The breakfast is very good with a wide choice. It is definately not however a 4* hotel as described - it is instead a solid 3*. If you want character find a place in the old town of Palma such as the Born, however if you are happy to be 10-15 minutes walk away, then this is a fair choice. The Mirador is one street closer to the sea front and is part of the same company - so if you want a good view of the sea consider it or the Tryp Bellver (which is directly between the Armadams and the Paseo sea-front).

Room clean but a little small. Felt TV should have had at least one English speaking channel other than CNN (there were French and German speaking stations)
Breakfast was very good and reception staff always helpful.
Indoor swimming pool excelent.

After ten days at Arenal amongst crowds of German elderly it was fantastic to be able to spend 3 days in this wonderful hotel. Our double room (305) was really huge, an en-suite room with a large bathroom including jacuzzi.
Location is perfect also if you want to go out in the weekend. It is just above the Paseo Maritim where the late-nite action is, and very near to the Santa Catalina district with a lot of modern relaxed restaurants. Definitely a recommendation!

We first visited the Armadams last October & vowed to return for longer so this year we booked for 8 nights & were not disappointed.
The Hotel arranged bikes for us to hire for 7 days which were delivered direct & we were able to store them in the Hotel garage each night so we made the most of the wonderful cycle track & rode about 10 kms each day stopping for a swim (or beer) at lovely locals spots.
The breakfast is easily plentiful enough to keep you going all day & my partner who is a chef was more than happy with it.
Lovely break,very relaxing,attentive & very accomodating staff.
Will definetely be back as soon as we can manage.
