We stayed here for a family holiday (parents and 2 teenage daughters). I had stayed here last year with one of my daughters and we loved it. But on return we were very disappointed. We had booked two double rooms with balcony/sea view. When we arrived we were told that we had been upgraded to a suite the following day so we didn't unpack. The next day we were taken to the suite which was two really tiny bedrooms (if you were in bed you could touch the walls on either side) looking out onto the sea but with a public balcony. So you would have to have the curtains drawn at all times if you didn't want people to see you. OK, it had a kitchen and sitting room but if we had wanted to be self catering we would have booked that. So we went to reception and said we wanted to move - it was a downgrade not an upgrade. They were quite rude but agreed - but we were really hassled out quickly. The hotel was full and they were clearly moving people round to maximise profit. We had to move our own luggage to two other rooms, which were not as good as we had had before. Our daughters' room (room 301 - do not accept this room) was terribly damp as a result of a badly installed vent and the smell was appalling. The breakfast was ridiculously expensive (20 euros pp) and drinks too, e.g. a coke is 4.75 euros. Of course we knew it was an expensive hotel as we had been before but the food was not as good as it had been; nor was the service. When we checked out, my daughters' room was not on the bill and I thought they had taken note of our complaint but they later put that charge on my bill and put it on our credit card. I was so disappointed as we were repeat customers. For this money you expect more - I just had the impression that they were trying to fill every last bed by moving people round and putting them in rooms that needed maintenance. I won't return and I am sorry that I have wasted my money.
