Just returned from a 5 day city break in Palma and would strongly recommend the Hotel Almudaina. The room and linen were immaculately clean. The room was a good size and the breakfast was great. The staff were more than pleased to help in any way.
It was very easy to catch the bus from the airport. The No.1 bus runs every 15 minutes to Palma and the stop for this hotel is just 5 minutes walk away. The stop is Paseo Mallorca.
This hotel is ideally situated for easy walking distance to the cathedral, port and is right in the centre of the shops. Although we spent most of our time in Palma we took a trip on the old railway to Soller and Port of Soller. Would highly receommend as the scenery througfh the citrus groves and views of the mountains was quite spectacular. Again walking to the train station was only about 15 minutes away.
Would thoroughly recommend both the hotel and city.

Having read the reviews here I had realistic expectations of this property. I asked on check in for a room on the top floor, which we were allocated. It was tiny! Possibly the smallest room I have ever stayed in. We were here to shop for 24 hours so this was not such a big problem as we planned to return to the room to sleep and leave early the next morning. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows lumpy. Yes it was clean and we had a small balcony with lovely views. Had I booked a second night we would have moved for sure. It was noisy at night as the rubbish was collected and I could hear the lift coming and going and the occupants of the room next door! Disappointing overall. There are better value for money hotels in Palma! Breakfast was OK, reasonable choice and the price we paid, 100Euros, does not imply 5 star but the lack of comfort would prevent me returning.

when we arrived ,we had no room due to problems with the expedia systems,the very friendly hombres at the reception solved the problem and we find ourselves in a very nice room overlooking the harbor.
top location!!!! will come back in spring!

Stayed at room 715 for a city break for 110 euro. Fantastic location - 5 min walk to cathedral. Beautiful view of the harbor and cathedral. Simple room but very clean. Take bus 15 to the beach.. 40 min ride. Highly recommend for a quick and economic trip. One downside - Noisy & drunk German neighbors at 4am. Not sure if there is any way to avoid them in Majorca.
