This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in and is in a fantastic location for a visit to Palma-which to me was an unexpectedly great city.The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and you will not go far wrong if you listen to their suggestions for trips and meals out etc.There are only nine rooms but try if possible to get one with a bath and be prepared to be amazed!

We spent a long weekend at the Dalt Murada. The location is utterly unbeatable. Bang next to the cathedral. We have a 5 year old and a 3 year old so we decided to upgrade to a suite which was very reasonably priced and extremely spacious.

Rooms are well decorated and sympathetic to the age of the properties in this historic part of the city. Staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable.

Huge jacuzzi bathroom, twin 4-poster beds, antique furniture etc etc...

Inclusive breakfast was of a high standard.

Only downsides - public areas are small (probably to divert as much space as possible into the rooms which is where I would rather have it). Also there is a very small flight of stairs which can't be avoided and wouldn't be a problem for anyone other than the infirm. Can be a little annoying if your 3 year old is asleep in his pushchair.

Definitely recommend this one!
