We have just come home from a wonderfull holiday in cala n' forcat,we stayed at the Los Delfines Hotel and i can't tell you how impressed we were,
the rooms were basic but overall very clean and tidy,we had two single beds which were already pushed together which was good as my little boy of 2 years would'nt sleep in the cot so he slept between my partner and myself, the beds must of been 8foot wide together so we all had plenty of room.
air conditioning came as standard,(did'nt have to pay extra)although my partner found it to be a little noisy.
we had maid sevice everyday.
the food was lovly,we stayed half board and could'nt complain about anything.it was a mixture of traditional spain food and english,
the location was nice too,we had a room overlooking the aqua park, and although the music went on a little late,12.30am(even though the park closed at 6pm)when you closed the balcony door the music could'nt be heard.
One thing i will mention is the lock on the door to the apartment,i does'nt work.you open the door from the outside with a card key,you then put it in another machine on the inside to turn on all the elecric,on the door is a lock, which when turned you think locks the door from the inside,as i found out to my dismay this does'nt lock the door,we put in a complint to our rep who asked the hotel manager if it was broken and he said that if there was a fire people dont want to be fiddling with locks to exit the room, fair enough we thought but it does't stop young toddlers from opening the door and running off down the corridor, which is what my little boy did,we ended up leaving our cases packed and leaving them against the hotel door to deter him from opening it,luckely this worked......so be warned the locks on the doors dont lock.
There is also no lock on the bathroom door......so if you're sitting upon the throan like us brits do.....any one can walk in,something else our toddler did.
there's not much of a beach in cala 'n forcat,we walked the 25 minutes to pirates cove where they have a nice but small beach.
I think we would stay at the Los Delfines again but will wait untill our little boy is older.Overall a brilliant first holiday.
