“Loved It!!”

My Family and I visited the Sheraton Sept'07.

It was my Son's, (who was 17months at the time), first holiday abroad. It was our first time abroad with a baby!!

I had nothing to worry about, the Sheraton is a real family hotel, we were made really welcome in all the restaurants with him, and all the staff made a real fuss, with all the kids on holiday there. The hotel is great for couples to, it has everything for everybody.

The hotel is 5 star and deserves it. The rooms are spacious, clean, the bathrooms are great I like the way it was split into sections.

The food was fantastic, I am not really a buffet person, but I couldn't complain. The a la carte restaurants are superb!

The only gripe I have was that I ordered room service once and it never came, even after chasing it. But hey, why worry everything else was great.

Would recommended this hotel to anyone, families, couples.

I want to be there now!

Just returned from a relaxing week here. Lots of good things to tell; its bright, clean, modern and quiet. Despite being the first week of school holidays the hotel seemed half empty which suited us. No need for towels on sun loungers. The level of service, on the whole, was excellent- clearly an effort has been made here if you look at reviews from last year.
We had minor gripes only . The maid service was often late and twice we had to ring reception at about 5pm to ask for our room to be cleaned. The pool side restaurant billing system seemed to be a bit of a lottery although the staff accepted my word gracefully when challenged.
Is it too quiet? The pool was just about right but the restaurants were empty and lacked atmosphere as did the piano bar-are those chairs retro chic or just retro? Lots of families with (well behaved) small children; an ideal place for them. Also good for self absorbed young couples and a very good place to unwind for a week with a book in the sun and the occasional glass of wine- I can recommend the house Rioja.
My only real reservation is the rest of the resort. The hotel is seperated from it by waste land though taxis are cheap and plentiful. If you want an all day English breakfast followed by an opportunity top up your tattoos then you will not be disappointed but if fine dining and cafe bars are your thing then you would be better off elsewhere.

“An oasis”

Our deluxe room provided the wow factor. Spacious, clean and modern, as is the rest of the hotel. The staff were welcoming and enthusiastic and always happy to help.

Nice beach and fab’ weather, about 27 degrees with a constant breeze, gusty at times. The hotel is on the incoming flight path but there is not a noise problem.

Hotel restaurants were pricey but the food was good. We tried three of the four, finding the buffet restaurant of best value. We stayed for 10 nights latter part of June and the hotel was less than half full, which suited us. July and August are their busiest months.

A short walk across the shrub land brings you to the town, which again is clean and modern but is built specifically for ‘Brits Abroad’. We followed advice from a review on this website and ate at China. Excellent food, well priced and the restaurant is air conditioned. Don’t go into town looking for authentic Spanish food because you will be disappointed.

We went hoping for 5 class everything, peace and relaxation and a perfect location. We got the lot!

“Didn't want to leave”

After staying 5 nights at a cheap all inclusive deal and had enough of the noise, bad beds and cockroaches decided to treat myself to the Sherton for the remaining of my holiday.

One word - exceptional - from the moment you arrive and be greated with a glass of champagne until checkout.

It was quiet, the pool was slighted heated (even though it was 27 degres). Food was a little expensive in the hotel, but there is loads of places to eat just a 15 min up the road in the main part of the town.

The rooms were huge, massive beds and nice balcony. Bug bathroom with shower for two and a great sized bath as well.

Room service was quick and tasty. Breakfast there was a bug selection of everything.

Ask for a late check-out because you won't be spend every last minute here.

I'll be back again soon to try out the spa which looked fantastic!
