We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The rooms were very clean and new. The only disappointment is the breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the map given at the beginning of our stay. I highty recommend this place for the money.

“Very nice B&B”

66 Imperial Inn

This is a very nice small B&B, close to the train station and most of the tourist sites in Rome. It was more expensive than the other places we stayed in Italy, but reasonable for Rome. We recommend booking the car service from the airport. It is well worth the money. Our driver had to wait an extra 45 minutes for us as our luggage did not make the connecting flight to Rome and we had to fill out papers etc. He did not charge us extra for this. The janitor at the B&B was very helpful and brought our luggage up to our room when it arrived the next day. The room was very nice and clean and the beds very comfortable. We had a triple room to the back, which was very quiet. We thought the size of the bathroom was fine and it was very clean with a great shower! The breakfast was not great as most things are pre packaged, but you have access to hot beverages, water, juices, yogurt and other things all day long and do not have to pay extra for what you use. When you walk so much, the beverages are appreciated! Each room also has a safe so you can feel comfortable leaving important papers, etc. for the day. We liked this B&B and found the previous reviews to be helpful.

“Lovely rooms”

A lovely B & B, rooms very nice with a very good bathroom.
Everything was very clean. Staff helpful & you could get something to drink & eat day or night from the kitchen area (except when the member of staff on duty was doing their own cooking.)

We walked everywhere from the B&B and from the train station with our luggage which took just over 10 mins.

Please note that there are signs when you get there stating that they will only take payment in cash. I have travelled to Italy on several occasions & have only really noticed in Rome the lack of credit card facillities . We then had a few problems taking out money by ATM's maybe because we were asking for more than our daily allowance!!

The only downside was we missed a fresh selection of food for breakfast as everything was pre packaged.

“Great Accomodation”

We stayed at the Imperial Inn from 23rd-26th february 2005. We booked the accomodation after reading the reviews on trip advisor. We didnt arrive until 1am on the first night and were met by the friendly 'janitor' who showed us to our room. The Inn is on the 4th floor of an apartment block (there is a lift available).

Breakfast is quite simple; selection of breads, cakes, croissants, jams, yogurts, fruit juice and coffee. You can help yourself all day to these. Though each room has a tminibar with a small selection in there also.

Our room was a good size and extremely clean. Some reviews may mention the small bathroom. It was small though we did not have any problems with this: The bathroom was spotless and had the added luxury of jacuzzi hydro-massage shower!

The Imperial Inn is located near to the Termini. We walked from the hotel to all the touristy sights- even the Vatican! This was an extremely long way, it may be better to catch a bus or taxi from the Termini. We were wary of getting a taxi after hearing about the high prices. However, we found them very reasonable. Termini to the Vatican area was about 8 euros.

Overall we found the Imperial Inn good value for money. its in a great location. The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms were spotlesslly clean and furnished to a high standard. We would certainly return here and wouldnt hesitate in recommending it to others.

“Luxury B&B at an Affordable Price”

My husband and I stayed here in October. The B&B opened the week we were there. It was fabulous for the price. The rooms have orthopedic matresses, secure safes, satellite TV, internet connection, jacuzzi shower, marble baths, and more. A European breakfast is served every morning. The room was very clean and modern as well as quiet when the windows were closed. There is a fridge down the hall with bottled water for the guests. The owners were very helpful in answering our questions. We walked everywhere from this hotel. We never took the metro. The hotel was close to Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and Via Veneto. I did a lot of research before our trip and found this place to be the best bargain for what it offered. We were very pleased. Check it out at 66imperialinn
