“Hotel Casci is Superb!”

Having just returned from 23 days in Italy, we can say with some authority that the Hotel Casci is outstanding in every way. We began our Italian journeys with five days in Florence at the Hotel Casci. The excellent accommodations coupled with the extremely gracious staff resulted in our ranking this our favorite hotel in Italy!
Our room was well-appointed with a very comfortable bed and efficient storage for our travel gear and clothes. The breakfast was more than ample, providing delicious choices and an attentive staff that insured good service. Most importantly, the front desk staff was so very helpful with meeting our travel needs - great and small. For example, they provided us with great information on restuarant choices, arranging reservations, and booking tours. Overall, the fine people who run the Hotel Casci are indeed the ultimate hosts!
Did we mention that the location is fabulous? The Hotel Casci is just steps away from the key attractions in Florence.
Truly, this was a very fine hotel that will be our destination whenever we return to Florence.

“Wonderful Experience!”

From the moment we walked in the door we received excellent service.
Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. From restaurant suggestions, to making dinner reservations, and checking the train schedule the Hotel Casci made us feel like valuable customers. The location is central and within walking distance to all of the major sites. We booked a room with twin beds and was given a room with two twin beds and a double so it was very roomy. The bathroom was satisfactory and the shower had great water pressure. The room also included a mini fridge but it wasn’t cold enough to utilize it for soft drinks or water. The breakfast was pleasant and filling and the free internet access was a bonus. We would definitely return and recommend the Hotel Casci.

“Fabulous hospitality at the Hotel Casci”

Staying at the Hotel Casci was a delightful experience. The staff is so warm and friendly -- they really make you feel like family. They made our museum reservations ahead of time -- that is a must for the Uffizi Gallery. We saw the poor souls standing in 2 hour lines and we walked right in. The breakfast was excellent; be sure take up the offer of a cappuccino instead of just a coffee. It was delicious. The room was comfortable although not large and the price made it worthwhile. The location is great -- a couple of blocks from the nice shopping streets and about a block from the Duomo. Also, very near the San Lorenzo outdoor flea market where we picked up some tee-shirts at bargain prices.

“A great hotel in the heart of the city”

We spent 5 nights at the Casci in April and would definitely return to this hotel. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Casci's central location made easy walking to all the sights- right between the Duomo and the Accademia. Before we even arrived in Italy Paolo had our vouchers for the Uffizi and the Accademia.
The staff was most gracious. When we overslept breakfast on our first morning, they had saved a plate for us. During the week they patiently gave us advice and were helpful in numerous ways. We'd be happy to go back.

“Clean, comfortable, great location, great staff!”

The Hotel Casci is a great little family-run hotel. It is not fancy, but the rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is wonderful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, help us with museum reservation, directions, etc.. The location is great, just minutes from the major sites and the train station.

Highly recommended for the travler who will spend most of their time seeing sites and needs a comfortable place to stay and a helful staff to assist with questions about the local attractions.
