What an imaginative little hotel! From the moment we were greeted by Sophie and Michel we were enthralled with our selection. Their two front desk managers, Stephanie and Vincent were equally delightful! The hotel itself is a travelogue of sorts. The public areas are decorated with terrific antiques and curios collected on Sophie and Michel's various trips to exotic vacation places. The rooms are named for some of the places they visited such as Bali, Thailand, Marrakech, India, Cuba etc. Each was decorated in lovely authentic pieces from the named locale. The rooms, (we saw two since we were two couples) were spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was a feast that could easily have lasted 'til dinner, but didn't ;-). The computer availability made my being away from business not so onerous. The entire staff was courteous, helpful and just nice to talk to. They all went out of their way to make sure we selected good restaurants and made good use of our time. We would go back to The Brussels Welcome Hotel at any time. We loved it!
