Being regulars at Easter time at the Hen-dy the wife and I decided it would be nice to visit Llandudno for my birthday. Seeing Llandudno during the summer months would be a change and we were not dissapointed, full of colour and green instead of bare boarders and no leaves on the trees,
However the Hen-dy from the outside looked amazing with its flowers which is a compliment to its owners David and Louise Williams.
When we arrived poor Louise was looking very worn out! The cleaner had just left so more work for poor Louise and David, however apart from David 'killing' the roses (no water) the House was imaculate as usual spotless and clean.
We had a different room to our usual one this time but yet again it was perfect, we were in fact at the back of the house with a view of thats right the car parks, But the view also included the Great Orme which was gorgeous.
The food was as always superb, good home cooking usually three choices on the menu (Roast Beef only on Sundays) and generous portions.
My birthday fell on the Sunday of our stay and I only metioned this fact briefly when I booked the stay, However when we came down to breakfast our table was covered with 'Birthday Banners' and just before our breakfast was served I was treated to a rendition of 'Happy Birthday' It was in fact my 57th Birthday and the most amusing present was a tin of Heinz 57 beans which was taken from Davids stock in the kitchen.
It goes without saying that we would recomend the Hen-dy to people without any worry, But be aware if you have any physical dissability there are stairs to all the bedrooms however there are dual rails being fitted up the stairs as we left.
David and Louise are very caring and courteous people and I am sure they will make your stay a very pleasant one.
Good luck for the rest of the year.
Steve and Pip
Ps: I kept the beans and brought them home with me.
