My wife and I stayed for one night at Hotel Regio Manfredi on a Trafalgar bus tour. We stayed there on the way from Rome to Lecce. The hotel is a bit remote, so it is comparatively inexpensive. Probably it was established for pilgrims visiting holy spots in Gargano peninsula. It is an excellent resort hotel with a large swimming pool and facilities for conventions and group meetings. The building is quite modern. The rooms and bathrooms are adequate and not too small. The TV had BBC and CNN in English. The refrigerator worked well, and we were able to leave our ice pack with the staff overnight. It was frozen when we picked it up the next morning. It has a beautiful view of the cliffs of the Gargano peninsula (see photo) on one side and the Adriatic on the other (see photo). Wireless is available in the lobby and in the rooms for the reasonable rate of Euro 2 per hour. The reception desk is always well manned, and staff are available. We enjoyed our stay and the quality of the dinner. The breakfast consisted of cereal, ham, cheese, and fresh apples and oranges. We would stay there again if we were traveling by automobile.
