I stayed at the Regio for four nights while in Italy on business. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice to deal with. The hotel staff allowed us to use the dinning room for meetings when it was not open for dinner. I reccomend this to any traveler that has a car, it is a bit form town. The pool was not open as of the date I was there.

I have just stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it is a very nice hotel, but only if you come by car as it is placed far our in the middel of knowwhere!.
We got a room overlooking the parkingarea which was not very exciting but when we ask for a better view the staff was very helpfull and we got a nice room overlooking the pool (and far away the ocean).
The pool is very big with waterfalls and the area around it is also very nice.
I would highly recommed the hotel, especially if you want peace and relaxing.

The Regiohotel Manfredi is some 2 miles from the town of Manfredonia, gateway to the Gargano promontory.

Externally the hotel is very impressive. Unfortunately the hotel does not deserve its four star rating. The restuarant is fairly unenticing while the bar is permanently closed (there is a pool bar that opens during the daytime - closes between 1.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m and finally closes at 7.00 p.m.)

It's a shame that the management have not made more of the facilities at this hotel (i.e. by opening them) because it's an attractive modern building. However its isolated position and lack of a good restaurant and permanently closed bar should be taken into account when considering this hotel.

Although some of the staff do speak a little English, visitors will need some basic Italian to get by.
