My wife and myself stayed at the hotel for a long time in 2007 due to work commitments and the staff and owners became like family. The chef (Sebastien) forced me to put on weight with the quality of the food he cooked, and the bar staff forced me to get a little merry with the drink they served. If you need any information about tank battles, Philippe is your man. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the quiet gardens are a pleasure to have a drink in. It is not far from the A26 and Cambrai is within walking distance. A decent size comercial centre is just up the road with a large supermarket and petrol station. All the reception staff speak English and will help you with your French. I suggest that through the peak periods, you try to book ahead as the hotel is normally fully booked. They will do their best to get you another hotel locally, but in my opinion, this is the best one around as there is a fair bit of parking available on site.
