I have been using this hotel for conferences for a few years and will now look for an alternative: Staff at the frontdesk is inexperienced and not too forthcoming, checkout procedures are cumbersome, conference guests and hosts are treated as 2nd class.
The Spa (openend late 2003) already shows signs of deterioration - creaking floorboards in the saunas, the soothing indoor waterfall and rivulet turned off and dry.
They seem to be very well booked throughout the year and management may not be up to the task or just a bit complacent.
On a positive note, Mr Brandl is as cheerful and present as ever. A true assett. And the hotel's spectecular alpine location is hard to beat.
