My wife and I stayed at the Harbour View, Kenmare, Kerry, Ireland from 13 June until 24 June 2005. Initally we planned to leave 20 June but we fell in love with Harbour View, its idyllic setting on the water, it proximity to the beautiful town of Kenmare, and the genuine hospitality of its proprietor, Maureen McCarthy and extended our stay. We have stayed at numerous 5 star hotels in the US and Europe, including two in the Kenmare area, and we found Harbour View their equal. We hope to visit Harbour View many times in the future.

“Every room with a view”

Stunning views over the Harbour and mountains on the otherside. Only a few minutes drive from Kenmare town. Very cosy rooms and breakfast was exceptional. Yummy banana pancakes with maple syrup is a must for pancake lovers like myself and Irish breakfast went down a treat for those who like frys.
A couple of houses down was a restaurant and bar so we could easily walk there.
Visit Gleninchaquin park that is about 5 mins drive in the other direction and see beautiful Waterfalls and mountain lakes. This is spectacular.
