Castlewood House is a terrific spot. The hosts, Helen and Brian are charming and helpful. The place is beautiful. The location is perfect and the food was the best. Helen and Brian are doing an amazing job for such a young couple, and with a delightful 2 year old son to manage beside running the house. Our family had 4 rooms, all different and yet all equally well put together. Can't wait to return.

“Comfort amidst decadence”

What a fabulous b&b! I'd say that Castlewood House is a combo b&b/hotel: b&b treatment in a larger house, where you can chat with others or be as alone as you like.
Our stay here was just terrific. Wonderful, comfortable, clean, luxurious room, with just amazing views. So fantastic, I can hardly express it in words. The owners are also wonderful, kind people, very helpful, and great breakfast cooks! I usually don't judge a hotel/b&b on breakfast offerings, but let me tell you, this breakfast is a "can't miss!" So delicious, many great choices, and a great view from the breakfast room across the water to boot! Oh, what mornings.
Our room was also terrific. The owners gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe bay room since the house wasn't full, which we greatly appreciated and exemplifies ownership commitment to great service. Very, very comfortable bed, excellent luxurious bathroom with a whirlpool tub and separate shower, the room had everything we needed. Castlewood House also has a selection of DVDs you can view in your room.
Good location, just outside of Dingle town. About a 7-8 minute walk into town (I walk briskly), but a beautiful walk along the water. Also a great jumping off point for Slea Head drive (which takes you to probably the most beautiful place on earth).
I really just can't say enough good things about the Castlewood House. The owners, the room, the food, the house itself (sitting room with fireplace), the service, the view, the location... all superb!!!

The Castlewood Hotel made our trip to Dingle perfect. The facilities in this B&B were all very new . The rooms were spacious and filled with light. The owners Helen and Brian were extremely friendly and very helpful. Our breakfast was also another rewarding experience.

Just on the edge of the gorgeous marina and only 15 minutes walk from the town centre, Castlewood House has been put together to create the ultimate in guest comfort. The room was beautifully kitted out, with a lovely bathroom and great views of the sea. Brian made us feel welcome and recommended some great places to eat. The breakfast was the best I've seen in a hotel; I recommend the porridge with Baileys and cream. This is a great little place to stay and doesn't break the bank.

We spent one night here over the christmas period and loved it!
Brian was very helpful with settling us in, checking if we needed taxi's or restaurant advice
The room and the en-suite were generously sized and really comfortable. Lovely jacuzzi bath!

The breakfast was definately the best we have had, my husband particularly took to the apple strudle! The dining room was very well placed with a gorgeous view out over the water. We would definately recommend this as a place to stay and would return for sure.
