We have just returned from a 7 night stay here and found it very comfortable. It is situated an easy 15 min walk away from the centre of Limone away from the road and is very quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a good shower and a balcony overlooking the lake. There is a large pool area with plenty of seating in the shade should you find it too hot and plenty of lounge space inside around the bar. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate but we didn't eat dinner for 2 of our nights as it caters mainly for Germans so it can get a little boring. Saying that, the food was always good quality and there was always a choice so if you didn't like something you could ask for something else. The staff were very efficient and pleasant the whole time. We only paid 32 euros each per night for halfboard which we thought excellent value. Some hotels charge more just for b&b. If you eat out in Limone you must visit Jackys bar just next to the car ferry car park. It serves excellent food with even better service and you can literally watch the world go by all day. We also had a very nice bacon & egg breakfast there for 7 euros, well worth it. Beware of the ice creams from Jackys - they are huge!
