Coral Sea is really super: fabulous hilltop setting with great views, (you need a car) delightful hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble and who cook delicious dinners and breakfasts, comfortable air con rooms and a welcome small swimming pool. I cannot praise Coral Sea too highly. Its one of the best b and bs we stayed in in Australia.

Booked two nights here in March 2006 but enjoyed it so much we stayed a third night. About 10 minutes drive from Port Douglas and set in a real tropical setting. Lovely views over the treetops to the Coral Sea beyond. Comfortable double room with en-suite facilities. Cold drinks in the fridge add to the comfort and convenience of the experience. The breakfast is served on the patio and is a real treat. Plenty to eat and a varied menu which is far from ordinary. Hosts are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble (they even did our laundry for a very reasonable fee). Can't speak too highly of this really homely b and b.
