I stayed here as all my normal Adelaide accomodations were booked out. This was one of only a few places in Adelaide with rooms left. I paid a ridiculously low rate and was pleasantly surprised.
It's a very basic motel about 3km from the CBD on the road to Melbourne. Quite noisy for traffic.. the room was very basic with cracked tiles and very tired. A rattly aircon unit was louder than the TV, I had to switch it off. The TV was old and basic, with snowy pictures. The breakfast was very basic and served with a smile. The staff seemed friendly, but absolutely no way were they going to help me with my heavy suitcase.
If all you want is a sleep in a bed, a warm shower and a basic breakfast at a rock bottom price this place will be fine..... If you want more go elsewhere!

Ahhh, we should have know better.... This place really is a "road side stop over" style accomodation. Shame, it could be a paradise close to the freeway.

We had 2 rooms-the guys/kids got the fancy room (go figure!) and we arrived at 8:45am breakfast the next day (against a 9am cutoff!) and was told that a cooked breakfast was now not available and fresh coffee (a few scoops in a percolator) was obviously not forthcoming (why go to breakfast then??).

Unfortunately, they don't try too hard at all...... which makes me find alternatives (but that is just me!) Bye bye Jacks...
