Must agree with most of the other reviewers. Great position overlooking the river and city. Comfortable rooms well furnished. Marble bathrooms. We were on the club floors so used the club facilities for breakfast (excellent) and complimentary drinks and canapes (again excellent) Great views and service from the club staff. Would certainly stay here again........Highly reccommended

We stayed in the Langham for 4 nights having booked a River Room but on arrival we were upgraded to a Club Room (room 1817). We just loved this hotel. It's location is ideal as everywhere in the CBD is within a 30 minute walk plus the hotel overlooks the Yarra River. Staff were very friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Also, there always seemed to be plenty of staff around. It really felt that this was an extremely well run hotel with excellent management. This is the best city hotel I have ever stayed in and I certainly agree that it's of 5 star standard.

Five-star hotel in the centre of Melbourne, so you expect quality and it delivers. Buffet breakfast is fantastic. Porters are great and will carry your luggage and equipment for you anywhere - great if you are running an event in the hotel.

I stayed in a standard room for three nights - they all have plush king size beds, a desk with connectivity, and all the mod cons. There is also a laundry service and various appliances in the cupboard next to the mini bar.

Bathroom was great - included a spa with salts, and a shower that ACTUALLY WORKS (why are the other places installing those 'water saving' showerheads that don't get hot or release any volume of water!?!

There is a good business centre on the ground floor, a gym and spa/sauna (if you have time. didn't use this). I was here for a conference and would recommend it for a venue.

Good view of the city from the 12th floor. Given its proximity to everything (right on Southbank, next to Crown) it is a great place to stay. Give the TravelLodge a big miss!

Stayed here for 4 nights during our visit down under. An excellent choice, good postion on River and near CBD, extremely comfortable room We had corner room on floor 16, large and well furnished. with two windows ovwerlooking the city. Staff very efficient in booking in after long flight from Europe. Small spa and pool but this did not spoil stay. Large restaurant. Only ate breakfast once there as we found great choice but VERY expensive.

Would certainly stay there again. Worth the cost.
