The apartments are in John street just off the beachroad. We had a reservation for 7 days and asked for a 1 bedroom apartment.
We got one and it was very large, very clean, very well equipted, but also very, very dark and almost in the basement of a large building with tags: Beware of burglars, lock all doors etc. There was a porch without view. We didnot want to stay last week of our vacation in a dark "gaslight" apartment and asked for another one. Reception told us there was one with oceanview at the same price (AUD 190) next day. We checked the apartment and we agreed. So next day we went at 10 am to the reception again and were told that everything was ok. So we went to the other apartment again and folks over there told us the would check out definately. We went shopping, visited Scarborough and came back at 2 pm. Reception: "You can't check in, people are still in the apartment" which was not true. So we told them people were out.... Next: "The apartment is not cleaned and maids are gone home" Well, no oceanview Cottesloe Beach apartment for us this time. We checked out immediately.
