The Quest Atrium is in a good position off the main streets but has a very limited view, we did enjoy watching the late night toilers at Radio New Zealand House, the Quest is easily accessible through the James Cook Hotel from Lampton Quay the 1 bedroom apartment we had was adequate for our stay and having a small kitchen as well as a washer dryer was great, the bed was comfortable however the apartment was looking tired and worn, the window sheers were stained torn and dirty, the balcony had old crusted pigeon poo on the edge and rails, the curtains had mould on backs of them, the carpet and armchairs were just looking tired, the shower was great excellent pressure and excellent extraction fan, but the sealant around the base of the shower was badly mould stained, this property is non smoking in the rooms but unfortunately we were between two apartments that smoked outside on their balcony so if we had our balcony door open cigarette smoke would waft in, a word of warning on the balcony doors, I closed our balcony door with me outside (11pm and me in PJ's) and the locking mechanisms was in the halfway position and the force of me shutting the door sprang the lock on......luckily my husband was in the apartment and let me back in. We were in the Quest over Easter and there was no servicing on the public holidays.Overall the apartment was comfortable and adequate but not value for money and we will stay elsewhere next time we are in Wellington
