What a great spot. We stayed 2 nights in the Lotus Room in the main homstead it was lovely. Sherry and Peter were great hosts. We loved the experience with the alpacas it was something special. The home made bread and jams were fantastic. It is a great location so close to the ocean as well. We intend to go back again and try one of the cottages.

Five of us "took over" Benbellen Homestead for a winter *Xmas in July* break. The setting in a quiet valley was lovely. The accommodation was great. The food (including a special Xmas Dinner) , home-cooked from local produce, was delicious.
Benbellen is conveniently situated for some beautiful local drives, either to the beaches or into the hinterland. So after a busy or quiet day (your choice) you can returnto the homestead for a drink by the fire before dinner.
Your hosts, Sherry and Peter, will make you most welcome - nothing is a trouble to them.
And I got to light and poke the fire!!!

Cherry tree cottage was all we were hoping for and more. A sense of peace and tranquility envelopes you the moment you turn into Cherry Tree Lane. The cottage was spotless and the kitchen stocked with everything you could wish for. The views were extensive and the night sky stunning.
Sherry and Peter were perfect hosts. They were able to give us plenty of relevant information on the surrounding areas and made the whole family feel very welcome. Our three children loved participating in the farm activities especially the early morning hill walk!
To sum up, it was great to have some uncomplicated, quality family time. We all left feeling refreshed and know that we will return again and again.

We loved staying at Cherry Tree Cottage. The surrounding countryside is like a painting and so quiet & peaceful. Wonderful food, fantastic views and very comfortable accommodation - Peter & Sherry are a great pair of hosts, very easy going and good company. Wish we had stayed longer.
