Hotel Atlantis is a small low key hotel in a beautiful location. We stayed in the Granada room with a great view of the ocean. The beach is lovely, uncrowded and not touristy. This is the Carribean I dream of during an Iowa winter. The on-site restaurant is excellent. There are several other small hotels on the beach that also have good restaurants. This hotel is on Playa Bonita which is a bit out of town so if you want brief respites from this stretch of paradise, you should rent a car (preferably one with high clearance).
