After staying in this hotel, and especially in the titular room , I have a feeling that it might not be very long before the word gets out and a secret society of "204" admirers develops. Yup, it's that special! Depending on the amount of funding, you'd want stay in it and work on creating your first child/novel/screenplay/whatever else you might feel inspired to make!
Historical background: this was an old Dominican monastery that served as public housing under Socialism; it underwent exhaustive restoration before being turned into a boutique hotel. It was during this time that the beautifully painted XIII century ceilings were discovered, along with wall fresco paintings from a later period.
As for the practical details: yes, it is only minutes away from all the main Prague attractions; staff is helpful with tourist information and pleasant without being overbearing; it is kid friendly (our 3 year old loved all the racing channels on the cable TV!); marble bathrooms (ours had a plasma TV above the tub!) make you feel like a royalty!
