6 of us stayed for 6 nights at the Comfort Inn Maingate and found it great. The Kids Suite we stayed in had 2 rooms - a bunk bed and T.V in one room and two queen size beds in the other as well as bathroom. We had a microwave oven to heat food if necessary as well as another T.V. Great for us as we had three children with us. The beds were very comfortable and there was enough room for us all to move around.
The shuttle service was just out the front of the motel and only cost $3 adult and $1 child for as many trips as we liked per day. We were only 1 mile from Disneyland if we wanted to walk.
The breakfasts were more than adequate - waffles, cereal, toast and Jam, hard boiled eggs, apples and oranges, juices and tea and coffee. More than enough choice and as much as you could eat. The swimming pool and spa were well kept.
Recommend the motel to anyone wanting a reasonably priced motel.

I got this hotel through a vacation package with getawaytoday and we were pleasanly surprised at the quality of the rooms. We were 2 adults/2children and had double beds. The room was clean, the towels bright white, the beds were so comfortable, we had to buy a new mattress as soon as we got home. The room was spacious and comfortable, nicely decorated. I liked the channel list, it had a refrigerator and coffee maker. It also had a safe. For a continental breakfast they had a lot of choices and we loved the waffles! We drove to disneyland every day and it was very close. Also they offered discounts at nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend it for families!

I always take advantage of the reviews as they are very helpful. We planned a last minutes trip to anaheim and I was surprised as the great deal that I received online. This hotel, I was told was a 10 minute walk. After seeing it, I did not try to walk it. It was 4 blocks away from the entrance. The front desk attendant, Celina was very helpful. We arrived early and checked in. We were also able to buy tickets for the shuttle for $3.00 per person. That was very helpful and convenient. The room was very clean on the ground floor. No to much outside noise. The breakfast was good. I understand that everyone has different tastes, but it suited us just fine. The dining area was kept very clean and well stocked. My only suggestion would be a more variety of fresh fruit, but other than that it was wonderful. I look forward to being able to stay again soon with my family. This is a good place to stay.

I read so much about this hotel before our trip. The management even went on Miceage to post for suggestions on making the hotel better. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of our room. It was clean and very comfortable. The free breakfast was good, but I would eco what the previous reviewer wrote with adding some healthy choices like yogurt and peanut butter. My 8 year old asked for bagels and cream cheese too. To even go a step furthers you could add some fruit topping for the waffles. All of these would still be pretty cheap for a tight budget. If I HAD to complain it would just be a couple of very minor things. First my son wanted to sleep on the sofa sleeper (he thought that was cool) so when we pulled the extra blanket out of the dresser it was dirty, and I do mean dirty it look like someone had spilled something all over it. Next would be in the landscaping right outside of the room was a female product applicator and that was there our whole trip and was in plain site of the maid I am sure. Besides those two minor things I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to all my family and friends in fact I already have. We are looking forward to our next trip which I hope will be sometime in the next month.
