we first went here for our honeymoon in 1990. went back in 2000 and also bought a week here. we have been back in 2005 and 2007, each time buying another week. we have found this resort to be unbelievable. because we never set our expectations to high, we have been amazed that everytime we go it gets better. from the people to the location, we might find something as good but not for the same money. we are always treated like royalty here. i am sure one reason is that we treat the staff with respect as well. a vacation here is what you make it and how you handle adversity. in hawaii the relaxed atmosphere always enables us to see the big picture, this is the best place to relax and enjoy life to its fullest...

We stayed here on a big family vacation for five nights. I thought the hotel was very nice, but I guess I'm easily impressed. We had an ocean view room, but it really faced the pool. Still, we could see the ocean pretty easily from our balcony. The rooms seemed clean and welcoming to me. I loved the bathroom. It was huge. We ate the breakfast buffet every morning and they had plenty of variety. I would definitely stay here again if I ever get to go back to Maui!

The first day of my stay I had $440 dollars in cash STOLEN from my room. The security and hotel staff were extremely rude and not helpful in any way. When I submitted a claim to the loss prevention department, they took over a month to respond and simply said, sorry we cant help you. I will never, ever stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone else!!!

Our kids stayed here and they were right about it. They had complaints of Bed Bugs in their room, while never seen they woke up with bumps and rashes on their back and stomachs. And they were on their honeymoon to make it even worse.

But this was a couple years ago and we thought we would try it for two nights while in Maui.

IT WAS HORRIBLE like they said. Take peoples advice when they say it is bad.

The resort itself is very nice, pool area very large. Water was freezing and treamendously windy.

Very close to Lahaina and was very quiet despite being so large.

Rooms large, and looked clean.... they weren't. We checked out after our first night.

We all recommend the wailea side of the island.
