“An oasis in the chaos of Marrakech”

We enjoyed only one night at the Ryad Dyor and we were very impressed with everything about the place. Nothing was too much trouble for Paul and the other staff and the decor of the Ryad is absolutely magnificent. The rooms are very large and spacious and beautifully appointed. Paul can organise very good guides for the souks, as well as transport and dinner reservations. There is a small pool in the courtyard for cooling off after an afternoon of walking the souks. I would highly recommend a stay at the Ryad Dyor.

We spent one night at Ryad Dior but would have loved to stay for a couple more. The place is in a good location, tucked away in the north part of The Medina. Boutique style rooms are very well presented, as is the rest of the Riad.

Whilst being a lovely place to stay, it probably wouldn't stand out from other good Riads, were it not for Paul, the manager, who was both charming and pleasantly eccentric, whilst being extremely good for recommending places to go. The Riad itself does not serve food but Paul recommended both Grand Cafe De La Post in Gueliz, for dinner and spending the day at the pool and having lunch at Jnane Tamsna. Both of which were superb choices. Paul was an excellent host in our short stay here and we wish him well.

“Good intentions... but.....”

Riyad dyor was a strange place to stay. The place itself is nice... rooms are strange shaped, but pretty nice... it was the details that were wrong.... No toiletries, which I personally would expect from a boutique hotel. Staff were erratic. Paul the manager was on one hand helpful, on the other hand a bit scatty and all over the place! This place is much more like a trendy b&b than a boutique hotel.... perhas that is what they are attempting to achieve, i don't know... I personally would have preferred a more boutiquey feel and better service....

“a fairytale in Marrakesh”

We spent 5 wonderful days at Ryad Dyor in Marrakesh.
The Ryad is an oases of peace and has been decorated for guests to feel like in a fairy tale. We were welcomed by Paul and had such a nice introduction and lots of informations about things to do and he recommeded us some very good restaurants.
We really had an excellent dinner every day . He arranged drivers, excursions and all the reservations for us. We are spoiled guests we always stay at The Leading Hotels of the World ( 5 stars hotels ) but this warm feeling like we were at home and being pampered so much we never had at any of the hotels before. We even comment it with him that he was too nice for his guests, but he was enjoying it so much it was no afford at all.
The breakfast at the rooftop were so cosy and so homey!!!
The drinks before dinner were so glamourous
The interest when you got back from dinner was so authentic
So when we left we were very impressed with the way Ryad Dyor treats the guests and told Paul we were coming back for sure......

“A haven in Marrakech”

Ryad Dyor

We planned a short family holiday with our two children, my son of 16 and daughter of 13 and thankfully we were recommended to Ryad Dyor. We were so wonderfully received and were so welcomed that immediately we felt completely at home. Our 16 year old son was not so keen to stay for five days, and after a few days he was sorry we were not staying longer. Paul the general manager looked after our every whim, he was the perfect "host" and arranged absolutely every thing for us, from restaurants, shopping, sight seeing etc. It was done with style and he made sure that all arrangements were done with only our comfort in mind. The Ryad is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the breakfasts on the roof terrace were a daily treat and the personal Hammam organised by Paul for my daughter and I in the Ryad was absolutely sensational. Two marrocan ladies were called in by him and they washed, massaged preaned and spoilt us. I have read the only review posted on this site and quite frankly all I can say is that they stayed at a different Ryad and there must have been another Paul. We remember this as one of our best experiences (we have travelled extensively throughout the world) and I think the service we received in Ryad Dyor excelled the "fancier" five star hotels in Marrakech.
I cannot recommend this oasis in the middle of Marrakech enough.
p.s. If you dont believe me, check our the HUGE guest book, signed by all the guests who have stayed at the Ryad, and Paul's name is mentioned on every page countless of times!!
