“A perfect oasis”

Riad Zolah

Apr 22, 2008

Riad Zolah is a perfect oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. It is in the perfect situation for the Souks and Square and within walking distant of many of the historical sites. I would recommend having a guide for half a day to guide you round the Souks and museums nearby, as it helps to orientate you and also gives you a good background of the local culture.
From start to finish we were looked after and our every need was catered for. Ismail and Fatima could not have done enough for us, whether it be recommending a restaurant, booking reservations or guiding us through the maze of streets that make Marrakech the place it is.
The service from all the staff was second to none and the Riad itself absolutely beautiful. Jeremy you have superb taste!
We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate in recommending this lovely Riad. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I stayed at Riad Zolah for 4 nights in April and we can't rate it highly enough. We booked direct and the prearrival communication was great with restaurant reviews and information provided. our taxi connection from the airport was included and Aziz and Omah did a great job of helping us get from riad to taxi or restaurant each night.

We were lucky with the weather - 32 degrees each day - and had a wonderful breakfast on the roof terrace each morning. The drinks throughout the day were very welcome too. The location of the riad is really great, right in the middle of the old city and close to the souks but really quiet too (except for the mosque first thing in the morning but even that isn't unwelcome).

Fatima and Ismail did all they could to help us and the food was great. We would really recommend this riad and I am sure you will have a good stay. We will be back!

“Perfect location and wonderful staff”

We returned from Marrakech last weekend, and since have been recalling the wonderful stay we had at Riad Zolah. One of the most well-located for enjoying the souks, the central city square at night. Zolah is a beautiful Riad with extraordinary staff (especially Ismail, the manager). From the moment we arrived we were treated with such great service and care. We got so much enjoyment talking and relaxing in the Riad with the staff. A side trip arranged by the riad to Kasbah Toukbal worked well, and we were glad we stayed the night.

“Delightful Riad Zolah”

This Riad is delightful and exquisitely decorated. From the second you arrive to the second you leave, your every need is catered for. The staff are so attentive, special thanks to Jeremy, Ismail and Fatima for making us feel so welcome. The location of the Riad is perfect too, just 5 minutes walk to the main square, but incredibly peaceful.

The place we recommend to go for lunch is The Kosybar, on Place des Ferblantier, lovely food including sushi and fish, great atmosphere and wine. Evening meals are a special experience too. And just around the corner from the Riad is another gem, Cafe Arabe, specialising in pasta if you have had one Tagine too many, and has a beautiful roof terrace that sprays you with a fine mist of cool water to cool you down!!

We would definately come again!

Thanks again!

“Haven of tranquility in the heart of Marrakech”

Riad Zolah

I've just returned from a weekend at Riad Zolah with five girlie friends to celebrate our thirtieth birthdays. We wanted to do something a little different, but still enjoy some luxury and pampering. Riad Zolah fitted the bill perfectly! On arrival we were offered the drinks and nibbles, and the staff were only too happy to whip up a delicious tagine, from scratch, to satisfy our lunchtime peckishness. We managed to make full use of all the facilities even though it was a flying visit - we had the complete Hammam experience and massage in the on-site spa rooms, drank a small ocean of complimentary peppermint tea, and basked for hours on the roof terrace. Riad Zolah is brilliantly situated within a couple of minutes of the souks, so exploring the city on foot is easy, and the riad was a peaceful retreat to come back to when we needed a break from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. The restaurant recommendations in the room were informative and reliable - we tended to use those more than our guidebook(!) - and the staff were always ready to book tables or taxis. At the end of each day it was a delight to come back to the candlelit courtyard, and then to fall into a comfy bed scattered with rose petals surrounded by stylish Morrocan decor. Delightful!
