“Great Hotel*****”

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and cannot fault it, The Service and Contemporary floors are superb and immaculate. I like the way the staff pay attention to the guests and after meeting you the first day they remember who you are and you don't feel like your just Joe Blogs. The amenities within the hotel are great, a roof top lounge, restaurant & gym. Also the location is good I don't tend to get into taxi's when possible as i enjoy to walk around and within walking distance you can find everything you need, including some of the best shopping malls I've seen.

Stayed here twice as part of our Thailand trip 5th to the 7th and 14th to the 16th of March. We upgraded to the life style floor for both stays. We booked this through the hotel's web site on a two for one package. This was well worth it just for the happy hour between 5.30pm and 7.30pm in the club lounge for cocktails and snacks. The rooms were fine, modern in style, very clean, had a walk in shower but no bath, very comfortable beds and what you would expect in this standard of hotel. We had breakfast in the club floor which was very good. We got late check out included which was an added bonus as we had a late flight. The pool was lovely not too cold and had a good level of service we ate lunch there which was very good.

It was my 40th birthday when we were there, the hotel passed on e-mail from friends and there were flowers from house keeping put into the room which was a nice touch. We ate in the Rib Room for my birthday and on the whole were disappointed; we had booked a table but waited for ages for it to be ready then waited so long in between courses. The food was good but not worth the wait. They redeemed themselves at the end with a birthday cake but we were too tired to eat by then. Also there was another cake waiting for me when we got back to the room which was lovely but too late in the day.

We ate at cabbages and condoms on the back of other reviews, a brilliant concept and excellent food.

We visited most the sites from the hotel initially taking taxis as they can be as cheap as the sky train but if you hit traffic a short journey can take over an hour. If you are there on a weekend be sure to visit the weekend market it was the best shopping of the whole holiday and there is a lot of shopping in Thailand. We also did a day trip to the floating market bit of a tourist trap but good to see. Took a local taxi to the airport much cheaper then the hotel.
On our second stay it was like coming home as we knew were everything was and how to get about.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the life style package at this hotel.

“First-class treatment at the Landmark”

Landmark Bangkok

5 of 5 stars
Rockford, Illinois
Mar 23, 2008

I stayed 5 nights at the Landmark for business. The service and amenities were first-class, from the friendly and helpful bell and front desk staff, to the housekeepers and waitstaff in the Club Lounge on the 31st floor. I highly recommend paying the additional cost of the Landmark Club upgrade for the additional amenities which include access to the Club Lounge 24/7, a free breakfast (with eggs cooked to order), free beverages throughout the day and a cocktail hour every evening with a beautiful and delicious assortment of sweet and savory snacks. For a dining experience, be sure to try the extensive buffet dinner offered in The Atrium restaurant off the lobby. The Club Lounge has free wi-fi and is a quiet spot to relax or work when jet lag interferes with sleep. The rooms have broadband access for 642 THB daily (about US$20) and you get a 15% discount if you are on the Club rate. However, with free wi-fi in the Club Lounge there is little need to pay for broadband. The rooms are comfortable with efficient air conditioning. The bathrooms are lovely! Complimentary bottled water is replenished twice daily or with a phone call to the front desk. The Club rate includes complimentary laundry service for 3 pcs daily, so you can pack light and still change clothes as frequently as the heat and humidity require. And it was nice to return home with clean clothes. The hotel seems to be in a convenient location. I did little more than taxi between the hotel and the Queen Sirikit convention center and it was very convenient for that. Within a few blocks surrounding the hotel, you get plenty of local flavor in shopping and food vendors. There is a big park nearby and also a few smaller gated green spaces for a nice break from the smog and street traffic. This visit was more work than play, but I hope to see more of this city in the future. The Thai people never seem to run out of smiles!

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights on the way to Australia. From the lovely sweeping entrance to the spacious air-conditioned rooms this place has a definite air of luxury about it.The staff are friendly and professional and splash out for a meal in the top floor restaurant, the food and ambience of the place are worth it plus great views of the city.
The hotel faces the Nana plaza which is like a minature of the famous Patpong area, with the skyrail just outside the hotel.
Marvellous place.

“Absolutely amazing”

We stayed at the landmark for 3 nights which part of our 21 night honeymoon in Asia. This was by far the best of all the city hotels we stayed in. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was enormous and very comfortable. The welcome we got was fantastic and the staff were always very helpful. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and there was a large choice to suit anyones taste buds. The hotel also had a great English bar downstairs which was very much appreciated as we were on our last leg of our honeymoon and missing some good English food. Saying that, the Thai food was the best we've tried. Cabbages and Condoms around the corner was really good food and good value for money. Bangkok itself was an exciting and vibrant city. we loved the floating market which we visited as an organised tour but decided to vistit the Grand Palace and Reclining Buddha oursleves which was great fun. The patpong market was a great place to get some designer bargains. We can't wait to go back and I would recommed this hotel to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced and central hotel in Bangkok.
