“Thieves at 5 Star breakfast”

We were suppose to stay for one night between great holiday in Hia Hina and return flight home in this hotel. It turned out to be two nights and great lesson. Hotel was great and the rooms were really nice. We had very enjoyable dinner in hotels chinese restaurant and felt like this was the best way to finish our holiday. Next morning there were only 4-6 quests at the same time with our family having breakfast -so the restaurant was basicly empty. There was one male waitress -who was not so smart and tidy appearance like the rest of the personnel. He came over and fixed and changed our son´s (7 years) napkin. After 10 minutes, we noticed, that my wife´s handbag was gone. There was nobody else around the table, the bag was under it and there were all the time someone sitting by the table.
So, the money, cellphones, passports card etc. were gone and there was 20 min. before leaving to airport. Needless to say, we could fly home that day. The action of the personnel were very frustrating -nobody did anything exept standing around and wondering -oh, maybe the bag is in the room.. There are securities in all exits and pier , but I had to run myself around the hotel and yard to ask fro anybody to seen the bag. And they have walkie talkies. So, be very carefully and do not leave your bags unattended for a second. Once it is out of the sight, there is no way it can be found again -whether it is inside or out of the hotel. Total loss for our family for this breakfast was more than 11.000 € -thank God there was insurance.
We had help from the stuff for new passports and police, since it was Songran time, all the offices vere closed. Without this episode we would be happy to go back to this hotel again.

“Loved the Hilton..”

Both husband and I stopped over in Bangkok for 4 nights on our way to Koi Samui. We were greeted with lovely cool refreshments and cold towels. Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful and could not do more for you.

As it was our 2nd wedding anniversary, our room was decorated with a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit. On our 1 day stay back from Koi Samui we had a lovely card to welcome us both back to the hotel.

We stayed on the executive floor for three nights and one night on the 29th floor. To my surprise, I much preferred the 29th floor, the room was much more spacious and lighting was better within the room than the exec floor's room.

We had a lovely time and ate at the restaurant on all four days. I would say the location is perfect and it cost no more than 75 BHT to get to the main districts. We would def go back..

“Fantastic!”

We just came back from our 8 days May holidays in Bangkok.

We booked the flights (from Dusseldorf) and the hotel with Alltours.de. Great travel agency and very reliable, attentive staff.

The Hilton hotel in Bangkok is excellent. It is situated on the bank of the Chao Praya river (the other side of the city centre) and all the rooms have the river view.

As we arrived at the hotel we were met by one of the staff who walked us to the reception for check-in while our luggage was offloaded from the mini bus (which was our transfer bus from the airport). We were given the room on the 6th floor but as we expressed our wish to have the highest floor possible, we were immediately repositioned to the 29th floor in a matter of seconds.

The room had a great view, king size bed, shower and a bath, bathrobes, toilettries, hair dryer, iron, extra pillows and towels, TV, internet access, telephone, Yellow pages...

Room service was very tactful and thorough. Cleaning came to check on the room twice a day. However in case of 'Not disturb' sign, they discreetly put the note under the door that if we need them we may call them any time.

Bed cloth and towels were changed daily. Fresh drinking water and welcome chocolates provided daily as well.

On my husband's birthday we have got a special surprise - a cake with candles and a 'Happy Birthday!' sign.

Concierge was ready and happy to help us rent a car and was also available when we asked him to give it back instead of doing it personally as we were going for an evening show on the arranged time and were afraid we won't make it on time.

Receptionists were always friendly and helpful no matter what was the question or request.

The pool on the 4th floor - 'The Beach' - is something unbelieveable and we enjoyed it a lot.

Gym is open 24/7.

The 360 Bar has a fantastic view with great and attentive staff.

The hotel has its own pier and provides all the guest with free boat shuttle to both, River City shopping mall and Train Station 'Sky Train' Saphin Taksin on the other side of the river untill midnight.

I don't have enough words to express how fantastic the hotel and all the staff there is. Wish we could stay there forever!

This is a boring , businesshotel at best. No imagination, no design, no service worth mentioning. Unless you have no choice, why stay there??

Stayed at the hilton for four nights. Upgraded to an executive room on check-in, well worth it. The executive lounge was available for use from 0600 until 2300, breakfast, snacks and between 1800 and 2030 happy hour where my glass was never empty.
The staff were excellent, with particular thanks to Porn, Poo, Ake, Gift and A.
A Memorable stay.
The location of the hotel was fine, the river crossing was free and fun, taxis were inexpensive.
The pool area with it's beach was a nice feature.
Would definately return to this hotel......
