“Great location for non-partiers”

What a great hotel, close enough to main chewang - around 2 mins on truck taxi ($1-2 Aus) which is good when you dont want to party all the time and want a break from Main Chewang Beach
the private Beach was quiet with plenty of shade if you wanted it, perfect relaxing location and no hawkers just what you want
Breakfast was awesome - fresh cooked omlettes and all the trimings with very good service
There is a small bar outside the hotel which we thought would be noisy but by 9pm each night it was closed which was good for sleeping
Our room door had a massive crack in it so we had to put a towel over it to ensure our privacy but that was fine and the bath was a little dirty but hey your not paying $500 a night
The pool wasnt crowded and the main hotel was shaped as an ocean liner which made floating around in the pool interesting
Highly recomend and if i ever go back there is only one choice - first house

A great place to stay. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable, hotel is in a good location--walking distance (not even 3 minutes away) to shopping/nightlife but not right in the heart of it so it is quiet and peaceful. Has its own beach with free lounge chairs or right next to main beach as well. Breakfast was great--both Eastern and Western food to choose from, staff VERY helpful and kind, free towels for beach, and internet cafe is on bottom floor. I would definitely stay again especially for the price! Great for backpackers, couples, or families.

Ok hotel, clean, friendly staff. Hard beds (Thai-style) and noisy AC on top floors.Close to nice beach. Quiet place. Internet cafe and nicely priced laundry close by. Good value for money.

Booked First House hotel for 2 ngihts so we had somewhere to stay when arriving in Samui. To be fair the hotel has everything you need and the standard rooms are cheap- works out about 8 english pounds per night. Not really much going on in the hotel, its quiet and is at the quiet end of the beach.

There is a river inlet near the pool which is a bit smelly but far enough away from the hotel to smell it.

Staff are friendly and breakfast is standard
