“great value and service”

my girlfriend and i were planning a trip to hanoi with an overnight stay in Halong Bay. I picked this hotel because we found a great promo deal on their website which included 4 day/3 night stay with Hanoi City Tour & a 2d/1N halong bay cruise.

Needless to say, the service was excellent because of the ff:

-The Hotel arranged for our pickup to/from the airport. While this is included in the price, I'd like to add that their driver waited for us to finish dinner first on our last day before proceeding to the airport around 10 pm for to catch a 1 am flight.

-The included breakfast wasn't anything to rave about but i doubt if other hotels in the same price range would offer something better.

-The rooms were huge, it included a jacuzzi and lounge area with fruits and bottled water every day.

-When we left for our Halong Bay tour (also included in package), they allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel. When we got back, they let us take a shower at the hotel too.

-the receptionists were very FLUENT in english which is a definite plus in this country

We were a bit nerviouse on arival but I think this may just have been to drive from the airport (do they have any road laws) But as soon as we entered we were greated by a young vibrant and helpfull staff. The room was large about 12 meters by 4 and cleen as a new pin the pool was small but then it couldn't be any larger was a great place to relieve the stress of a days shopping (traffic again) the price was good about 60 us a night we thought the breakfast a bit repeditive but hey those bread rolls were fantastic overall we will be back thanks for a great time free wine(a bit rough but drinkable) and fresh fruit everyday ,

“A Great Find”

Hanoi Paradise Hotel

The Hanoi Paradise Hotel is a great find. We found it almost by accident on the Internet, but at once it looked good. Though the hotel is only about 15 feet wide (like most buildings the the Hanoi Old Quarter), the rooms are pristine, with nice bathrooms. My parents, brother, and I stayed in one of the five family rooms, which was pretty spacious. This hotel has a swimming pool, which I think is pretty amazing for a hotel in the Old Quarter. The Hanoi Paradise is located right smack in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter, near lots of travel agencies and restaurants. Having read reviews of many different hotels, all of which said that the staff asked them over and over if they wanted to book a tour to Halong Bay or elsewhere, we were pleasantly surprised that the staff at the Hanoi Paradise did not! The staff are attentive and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a three star hotel, but we would rate it three stars plus. We are happy to recommend the Hanoi Paradise Hotel!!

“this hotel is a gem!”

This hotel is a great find, from the very beginning the service has been fanstastic. We booked the hotel directly by email and had very fast efficient response.

I am writing this review from the private pc in our room which is definitely a bonus and the room itself is huge.. granted we booked a suite but still at US$70 a night it is a steal. The room is spotless and we have been provided with DVD player, safe, fully stocked mini bar, free fruit, wine, newspapers and fresh flowers. The beds are the most comfortable we've had so far and the bathroom is also huge and well stocked with all the necessities ie. toothbrush n paste, combs, razors, soap, shampoo, hairdryer etc.

We returned from sapa at 4.30 this morning on the overnight train and were picked up by the hotel and brought straight to our room. In order to avail of the room so early you do need to book 2 nights but it was well worth it just to fall into bed upon arrival. and yes some of the staff do sleep in reception so we had to creep quietly past them but this seems to be the norm in asia as we have seen it in other hotels and actually on the Fanxipan train the staff slept on the floor between carriages!

The staff at Paradise are fantastic and cant do enough for us and most have great english which makes communication a lot easier. They even greeted us by name which is a nice touch.
Although we did not stay at Paradise until this monring(Friday) we turned up on Tuesday and asked if they would store our bags for us(of which there are a lot!) whilst we were in Sapa. We were greeted with smiles and told no problem at all and offered the use of a shower room during the day before being dropped off at tthe train station. So fantastic service all round and really made our trip so much easier and a great way to end our holiday.

I am looking forward to spending today and tomorrow here as the location is great and only a few minutes walk from the centre of the old quarter. its a busy bustling area but the rooms themselves are very quiet so no trouble sleeping. the pool is also very handy for cooling down during the afternoon heat of Hanoi. It is a shame our stay here is so short (we stayed at a different group tour hotel for the few days prior to Sapa) but i would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi and looking for a safe comfortable base in the bustling Old Quarter. Dont be alarmed by the front of the building, it is very narrow and crammed between buildings but once inside is a beautiful hotel.

Our first trip to Vietnam, booked everything ourselves, this was a great start,as the hotel was in a good location, the room was very clean, with everything you needed, Breakfast excellent the
staff were extremely helpfull, nothing was to much trouble for them, they looked after our baggage for three days, at no charge when we went to Halong Bay . On our return ,they gave us towels and let us shower ,even took us to the railway station and made sure we boarded the right train,,all this three days after we had checked out. We will definatley stay at this hotel when we return to Hanoi ,and would recommend it to anybody.
