We stayed 5 nights at the Bich Duyen Hotel. Breakfast was adequate and the Manger Chanh was fantastic!. Chanh booked day trips for us and spoke and understood english. From his first Hello as "Good Morning" to his last "See YOU Later Alligator". Nothing was too much trouble for him, he carried our bags up the stairs for us cooked breakfast and made phone calls on our behalf he also arranged for a taxi to pick us up and drop us off at the airport..
What a wounderful asset for this Hotel. The hotel is situated down a little alley and at first is hard to find but when you have been there several times no probs. All in all we had a great stay!
Watch those stairs especially on the 5th floor.

We have just left Bich Duyen and loved it. Chanh is the reason that our stay was so enjoyable. He is friendly and always willing to help. He has an enormous amount of knowledge and it is worth asking for his advice.
The rooms are clean but fairly basic yet have all the essentials.
Bich Duyen is located in a quiet lane and close to the backpackers area.
On our previous visits to Ho Chi Minh City we have stayed at the Grand Hotel but it lacks a character such as Chanh.
If possible i suggest that you book a triple room for the extra space as it is not much more expensive.

stayed there in May found the place was really clean and the manager Chann really helpfull.
The location was great as every thing within walking distance I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Chanh is the best Hotel Manager in the World. I've stayed in three-star and five-star hotels and I have not met a hotel manager better than Mr. Chanh.

Good Service is definitely Chanh's middle name! He makes sure that everything in his hotel is clean and he makes sure his clients are very comfortable, even if this means doing things beyond the call of duty.

Bich Duyen is highly-recommended! The hotel is very clean, and Chanh will make sure that your stay in his hotel and in his country is without hassle.
