My partner and i stayed at the La Suisse for 4 nights and can't praise it enough. The family that runs this hotel are wonderful and kind people who went over and above their duty to take care of us during our time in Nha Trang. On arrival before our check in time, our top floor balcony room ($50 a night with ocean views, sitting area and a single and double bed) wasn't available but without even asking we were offered a room to relax and freshen up in until our room was available. This room which was 101 I believe was one of the $35 balcony rooms and a similar size to our $50 room but without the views - great value! When we were taken up to our 601 room we were happy with that too although we thought the setup of the $35 room was a bit better so would recommend that room if you're not fussed about the views.
The service we received during our stay at the La Suisse was just amazing and better than anything we've ever experienced at 5 star properties we've stayed at. All of the staff there were very friendly and keep a close watch on everything to ensure things are up to standard and that guests are happy - even down to the consistency of the eggs at breakfast. Most of the reception staff have good English and were happy to provide advice about safety, tours and services in the area. They were very efficient in booking our tours and offered us a private car with driver for a full day to take us around to the sites in Nha Trang for 35 USD, this was a great day out in a new, clean 4WD with a lovely driver, it was also cheaper than a Sinh Cafe quote we received for the same service.
What really made our stay at La Suisse an unforgettable one was when we returned to the hotel after missing our flight to Hoi An through my own fault. The La Suisse staff came rushing out to the taxi genuinely concerned about what had happened and automatically offered alternative solutions to us and got on the phone and started sorting out our transport to Hoi An, after couriering our tickets down to the airlines office they were able to transfer our flights to the next day's flight at no cost to us, organised our new transfer and also notified our Hoi An hotel of our late arrival and tried to organise a refund for us. They were so incredibly kind and helpful to us during our stay we will be sending them a nice gift from Australia to show our thanks.
They were also very helpful when we came back to the hotel one night after being robbed of about 100 USD from our clothes at a dodgy "reflexology" place on Hung Vuong St called 'Tuen Tuit' (also operates under the name 'The Sun Massage') which has a big lit up bright reflexology foot image at the front and looks okay from the outside but is awful once you go inside.
The $25 room we stayed in on our last night was also very clean and nice but if you like a bit more room and a balcony and big windows go for the $35 rooms.
