If you are lucky enough to stay at this hotel, you'll be enjoying old world colonial French/European style, with original features. This is actually a residential~serviced apartment building, but, they always have a half dozen rooms available for rent. I stayed in a 2nd floor, 1 bedroom apartment, with a living room, kitchen, big bathroom. T.V. in the living room and another in the bedroom. All for only $ 68 U.S.D. per night. I was here for 3 nights from May 1st to May 3rd, 2007. Maid service, Laundry, 24 hour security. 3 Swimming pools. As you walk into the lobby, you will view the biggest of the 3 pools, an infinity pool in the middle of the complex, surrounded on four sides by the entire building, 5 stories, but open to the sky. One side of the main entrance is the lobby, on the other side is the best French restaurant in Phnom Penh, "Restaurant 192". You do not have to be a guest to dine at this restaurant. The restaurant is only open for dinner in the evening, except on the weekends when it is also open for lunch. I don't believe I saw anything over $ 25 U.S.D. on the menu. And, everything was delicious ! This hotel has underground parking if you happen to have a rental car. A 2nd pool is located on the roof. It also has a gym too. There is also 60 channel cable T.V. and a business center with internet, and A.C. in the apartments. A winding 25 step stairway leads from the lobby to the upper floors. There no elevators because of the age of the hotel. This was the only negative aspect for me and my bad knees & back. Other than that, the place is fully mordern, and a fantastic retreat back to the "Good Old Days". You will enjoy everything about this hotel. I highly recommend it !
