Stayed 1 night in December 07, arrived at 6.30am from the airport, check in was not until 2pm, they looked after our bags and sent us to the breakfast buffet and said try just after 7am your room may be ready, It was!!!
Hotel and room was clean, staff helpful and friendly, room cost was cheap last minute through expedia.

It was a saturday night we stayed and there was a loud bar mitzvah on downstairs but that stopped just after midnight.

One word of warning as someone else mentioned re taxi drivers, we asked for taxi and the concierge said he would get us a driver, the driver would not sort price until later, turned out he was a rip off and expensive.

Next time we walked next door to renaissance to use the ATM and got a taxi that was waiting there.

ALWAYS fix taxi prices before the journey and you will have no probs.

Reasonable price, and the room was okay - not particularly small, and the bathroom was fine. I also found the desk staff really helpful in organising taxis, trips etc. However, it's not in a good position, unless you're visiting the Knesset. The room wasn't particularly clean - eg under the bed and desk lots of dust, and I too had a problem with people keying their way in without even knocking. Breakfast was fine, though some of the food began to look a little sad towards the end of the week. The evening meal wasn't great but you could eat as much as you wanted and it was all okay. The bar, however, was horrid and the service there was poor. You can probably find somewhere better.

Allthogh the hotel is old, it is a nice quite hotel. I found the room small but clean & comfortable. The staff was very friendly & helpfull. The food is good . The location was exactly what we needed. But most of everything the price we paid was fair.
We will defenatly come again.

We feel comfortable in this Hotel. Price was cheap and service was okay. Hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. We came to touring Jerusalem and location of Hotel was good for it, not far from the center and from the old city. Food was very good, we enjoy it. Staff was educated and helpful. There are new carpets and part of the Hotel looks just renovated.
I believe we got good value for our money. I can recommend this hotel.
