We feel comfortable in this Hotel. Price was cheap and service was okay. Hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. We came to touring Jerusalem and location of Hotel was good for it, not far from the center and from the old city. Food was very good, we enjoy it. Staff was educated and helpful. There are new carpets and part of the Hotel looks just renovated.
I believe we got good value for our money. I can recommend this hotel.

We just got back from Israel, where we spent one night at the Park Plaza. It was the dirtiest place ever! The rugs were so dirty that you wanted to throw your socks away. The staff was rude. We had to go to a wedding at this hotel, and the morning of, we were woken up twice early in the morning by construction guys, who had keys to our room and opened our room twice!! Although they stopped entering our room after we called the front desk, they began drilling right outside. Our TV did not even work! To make matters worse, when we asked to get a taxi to the airport, the front desk called a taxi guy, who ripped us off and charged more than twice the price. It was late at night on Shabbat and there were not too many cabs available. This guy would not tell us the price until we got inside the car, and at that point, it was too late. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone in their right mind!!!!

It's not as bad as some of these reviews. All in all it wasn't too bad and I'd stay again. It seemed fairly clean to me and the room was decent. The front desk staff was a little slow, but the bell boy/security staff were nice. There was a business center. The restaurant was okay, but it got really noisy on the Jewish sabbath on Friday night. For the price ($60 USD per night), I think it was pretty good. Only drawback would be that it's kind of out of the way, although it is only a short hop to the central bus station.

Stayed here in March 2005. My best comparison for it would be like a rundown Motel 6 (I have had MUCH better experiences with Motel 6's)....

Not clean, small rooms, refused coffee at the evening meal (whoever heard of THAT?)............staff seemed not at all concerned with MY concerns!

The place was obviously undergoing some kind of renovation.....tools/paint/ladders etc. all over the place...........

I will never stay there again.
