We stay at the Sheraton Tel Aviv and Towers every year. The location is perfect. The concierge and staff are great. They have recently refurbished and have lovely rooms at the best prices. Ask for the club rooms or the Executive tower rooms with ocean view. The rooms are brand new and state of the art. Bathrooms are small, but hey, you don't come to Israel to spend a lot of time in the bathroom, hopefully. You will also get a non-stop buffet on the 18th floor for free, which comes in handy for jet lag. The view from the 18th floor is beautiful, with free drinks, cappucinos, internet. The help in this hotel is very friendly. There is a pool, business center and small dining in the lobby. For large dining, there is a lower level which I advise skipping. Best eats is across the street at the beach at London Cafe. Save money and eat at the beach 24/7. Book through Starwood using points and then call the hotel directly to upgrade to Club or Executive level.

“Are You Kidding Me ?”

Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel and Towers

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel and Towers and was completely dissapointed. As drive up to the hotel at first glace you hope your cabbie took you to the wrong hotel. The lobby is okay, fairly new and but you feel more like your in houston,tx than tel aviv. Their is no middle eastern style in the whole hotel. When the elevator took me up to my floor I felt as if i was in a completely different hotel. I felt as if i was in a dirty highway side hotel from the seventies. The room was very average exept for broken tv, a pretty cool expresso machine and average temperature of 85 degrees farenheit. The gym consisted of 4 pieces of equipment all of which were at least 20 years old. no music, no tv, alot of mirrors, and two old gym attendants who just stare the whole time you workout. the pool like the whole hotel was outdated, cold, and empty to the point where the poolside bar was closed most of the time. I could go on and on about the problems with this hotel(disgusting coffee, incompetent concierge, etc) but just all and all do not stay here i would of rather stayed home.

I`m just staying in this hotel - 220 USD / night - there I expect really high end - but reality is unfortunately far away:

- for check in I had to wait 10 munites (the stuff is friendly but to less stuff)
- comming into the room there is a big ugly peck on the carpet (is after 5 days still there.
- this internet connection cost me another 20 USD / day (30 minutes/day is free - but every day you have to go to the businiss center to get a new code)
- the television sometimes works - sometimes it shut downs without reason
- the shower did not work (was repaired immediately when I claimed it)
- the fitness room is really poor
- the chambermaid ignored my laundery about 2 days
- the elevators don`t have enough capacity - sometimes you wait 5 minutes to get a lift

But there are also some positive items:
- breakfast is tasty and with big choice
- the hotel is direct in front of the beach

So - if you are looking for value for money - this is not the right palace. If you are looking for a hotel near to the beach - with good breakfast and a nice lobby and friendly stuff - than its ok.
Enjoy your stay!

“Nothing to see here, folks”

Stayed here during my last night in Israel and was far from impressed with this place. I've stayed at many Sheraton hotels in the past, and this easily makes it in to the bottom 20% of the hotels I've stayed at.

The front desk is fairly rude and unavailable. Check-in took far longer than it should have, and we were the only ones in line! This is because while we were checking in, the lady behind the counter found it necessary to answer the phone and keep us waiting around for close to 10 minutes while she answered all of the callers questions.

They then checked us in to the wrong room, and when we called the front desk from our room, we had to try four times, as they kept hanging up on us or not answering the phone. Finally, we got taken to the room that we reserved.

The rooms themselves are unspectacular. Very small and outdated. The hallway to the elevator outside the room smells like a wet dog.

Breakfast is not included.

The view is very nice as you are right near the beach, but that's about all I can say about this hotel on the positive side.

There are so many hotels in Tel Aviv - don't waste your time here.

“Old and unpleasant!”

This hotel does not deserve 4 stars anymore! It's old, dirty and very unpleasant! I stayed at the "Royal Suite" at the upper floor, however you can see the rotten carpets and worn-out painting everywhere!
The location is great but there are many other better hotels next door which cost as much as this one!
The staff is awful as well! I arrived at 1:00 am from a long trip and had to deal with a guy at the reception that should never been hired! The room had not been reserved, he didn't want to search for another choice, and finally, because I lost my patience, he offered a room for one night only!!!
The next morning I looked for the manager and had the most unpleasant conversation of my life! I don't know how Sheraton Hotels can hire such a low profile people! His answers to my concerns were that I could complain to the Main Office because he would be the one to get the letter and he would throw it away. He was not worried at all if his employee was bad humored or did not treat guests well at all.
My advice is to look for another hotel! By the way, try Dan Panorama that is not so far away, is totally renewed, faces a wonderful beach and is very good priced! The staff is super, too!
