We stayed here as part of a tour group and as it was the last stop stayed a couple of nights extra.
When we booked in my sister and I were given a double room. It was the only hotel on our 16 day tour that made the mistake. Thankfully as soon as I went downstairs to tell them of the mistake they corrected it and gave us another room.
The rooms themselves were clean, relatively large and very comfortable. In all, we saw 4 rooms (other rooms of guests in our group). The furniture in some of the suites with a lounge room was more dated than those without a lounge room. The majority of room (3 out of 4) had kitchenettes and you could ask for a microwave.
The bathrooms were a descent size and very clean.
The staff were friendly and willing to accommodate requests (e.g. more bananas at breakfast, spending money charged to the room).
The buffet breakfast was very good. There was a good range of hot and cold food will the selection of hot food changing daily. The only problem is that bread in the Middle East is very sweet (Americans wouldn't have a problem but everyone else will) and there was no bacon (the same as every else that we stayed in the Middle East).
As it was winter we didn't check out the gym or pool but I believe that if one isn't on site that you can get access.
There are a number of restaurants and shops within walking distance making dinner easy. There is a great chocolate shop that should be checked out by everyone.
We also had room service one night. The food was fine and without any real problems.
I would stay here again.
