The place was really beautiful. Every photo you will see of this place will make it look magical. We had a good time here, but there were definitely some issues.
When I had booked the room, I had told them that we wanted a double room (but since everything was in Spanish for the booking, I guess they had confused it) The rooms were very old fashioned and didn't really mesh with the rest of the place. There were many occassions where we saw people yelling at the front desk. It just seemed that there weren't enough English speaking people. This is a very expensive hotel in a very cheap place, so we were kind of disappointed at that as well. Also, we hadn't planned on renting a car, but we traveled to La Barra just a town away (which took about 30 minutes) and it was $20 USD each way! It didn't make sense to keep paying for this, so we rented a car for $120 USD through the hotel. They were good at arranging things and tried to be helpful, but up to American standards, it failed.

The food was also overpriced and the waitstaff was quite rude. I wouldn't stay here again, but I'm glad I did to see it!
