Hmm what can I say about my stay at your resort.. My brother and I had a wonderful time during our visit in Boracay. Janet and her friendly staff went above and beyond to cater to us. We felt so welcome, kinda liked long lost relatives rather than paying guest.
The place is peaceful, relaxing and just wonderful.
To sum it all we do highly recommend it!!!Hoped to see you guys and gals soon.. maybe in a couple of years.

We stayed in Daves Starw Hat Inn Boracay...Feb to March. We had the best time. Not only were the staff great, they were the best. I was greeted with a smile everday. I was called by my name. My room was cleaned on a daily basis. I have a million and one pictures to upload, but will up load them another time. My favorite staff...Esia (I think that is how her name is spelled), shy but charming. The smile on her face would brighten any room...I just wanted to say a special thanks to Janet and her staff of having us as a guest and being part of the Straw Hat Family. All good things must come to an end, I am now back at work. Thinking of the next time I will return to my home away from home. I miss all the staff there at Straw Hat Inn. Again thank you for letting me be part of your family. Andy and Mark

Just want to say that our vacation to Dave's Straw Hat Inn was very relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly smiles and we really enjoyed the complimentary Mango iced tea "slush" when we arrived early, which by the way seemed to be no problem for the staff as there was a nice little area with a ceiling fan to wait in. Thank you Janet, Joan, and Jenny for the great time!!! We will definitely recommend your establishment to all that asks us about where to stay at Boracay.

Just got back from the Philippines and our trip from Boracay. We stayed at Dave's and found ourselves staying at "my favorite Uncle's House" instead of just some hotel on the island. Dave's is located back in the neighborhood where you have to pass some private residences. The location was safe and friendly so it wasn't a problem or anything.

The room we stayed in was a bit tiny, but it was fine for my wife, son and myself. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and dry, which is hard to find in the Philippines. Our room had AC, ceiling fan and a stocked refrigerator which helped out on those warm nights when you are just too lazy to leave the room. The AC was strong and cooled down the room fast after an afternoon of cruising the "strip".

We had a couple of meals at Dave's and they were great! I loved the pancake with mango and bananas, I usually only find stuff like that at fine restaurants....

Dave's Straw Hat Inn is great! I wish it was a bit closer to the beach though, but you can't have everything I guess. Once inside the location, you feel like you are in paradise with no worries to ever think about. The staff, well let me tell you about the staff... You will not find another crew more dedicated, more friendlier and caring anywhere else on the Earth! They helped us with our activities on the islands, told of us some local things to do and even confirmed our flight back to Manila. When we checked out, the staff came out to say goodbye and to wish us a safe trip home. I don't think those big Boracay restorts can treat their customers like Dave's staff does...

I would not hesistate to recommend Dave's to anyone.
