Hotel is nice, and not large. Small restaurant/bistro downstairs had pretty good, albeit a tad pricey, food. Breakfast, included in the room rate, was fine. This part of Providencia is not particulary historic, but is pleasant, with lots of restaurants, and a Metro station nearby. We did hear of others getting better rates at other area hotels, but were not terribly displeased at the rate. Paid for a room with a Queen-size bed, but it seemed more like a double bed to both my wife and myself. Based on reviews, I did ask for a room towards the back, away from street noise (street is not all that noisy, it turns out), and got one facing a quiet courtyard, but unfortunately next to the elevator shaft, which was noisy especially in the evening (though not late at night). Hotel was full so we could not switch rooms. Hotel arranged for car to the arirport. This was more expensive than a taxi, but convenient for an early morning flight.
