Wonderful place to stay- rooms were comfortable- great sitting area in lobby- staff was great and very helpful- location is a plus only a block to the plaza armas

We stayed at Los Andes De America in April of this year and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cusco.

After making the initial reservation we had to change dates at the last minute. The hotel were very accommodating. They moved our reservation, fitting us in for our required dates except for one night and even then they managed to find us another hotel and they also helped us move our bags over.

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast offered a great choice. There was a computer available for guests use and a laundry service which was convenient for us as we were there for a longer stay.

As we booked our trip independently (not part of a tour) it was great that they arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and also organised our day trips and an overnight trip to Puno.

Most importantly the staff were excellent, most spoke good English which helped us as our Spanish is limited. They were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

As part of our recent tour package to Peru, (we arrived back home this week) we were booked into the Best Western Andes de los Americas for the Cusco segment of our trip. I think we stayed three nights.
We were pleasantly suprised by the hotel, which is clean modern and inviting, and features a very good included breakfast for its guests.
Staff were exceptionally nice, and I would certainly recommend the hotel for someone who wants comfort and few surprises.

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel from December
12th to the 17th. As the other review indicates, this may not be up to the Best Western "American" standards but, surprisingly, the hotel was allright.

The hotel is a 3 star hotel that is located 2 blocks away from the main plaza (Plaza de Armas). The room we had was simple with a few ammenities. Our room had no view but, luckily no noise either.

What made our stay pleasant was the service we received from the hotel staff. The main handyman, Rucendino, made sure that all our requests were taken care of in a quick and efficient manner. The receptionists were friendly. The hotel´s restaurant staff were very nice.

In summary, this is definetely not a luxury hotel but, if you plan to stay in a clean, simple and service oriented place as you visit Cusco and Machu Picchu, I would recommend you stay here.
