My fiance and I stayed at this hotel from December
12th to the 17th. As the other review indicates, this may not be up to the Best Western "American" standards but, surprisingly, the hotel was allright.

The hotel is a 3 star hotel that is located 2 blocks away from the main plaza (Plaza de Armas). The room we had was simple with a few ammenities. Our room had no view but, luckily no noise either.

What made our stay pleasant was the service we received from the hotel staff. The main handyman, Rucendino, made sure that all our requests were taken care of in a quick and efficient manner. The receptionists were friendly. The hotel´s restaurant staff were very nice.

In summary, this is definetely not a luxury hotel but, if you plan to stay in a clean, simple and service oriented place as you visit Cusco and Machu Picchu, I would recommend you stay here.

This hotel did not live up to the 'Best Western' brand expectation. We stayed for 5 nights - paying too much at $130 per night - and whilst the hotel was very central, it was extremely 'tired' looking and feeling. Our room did not have a window with any sort of view, bar a concrete wall 3 yards away - in fact it looked over the kitchen entrance with rubbish and associated stuff. Consequently it was also very noisy and we had to shut the window which made the room very stuffy. Also it seemed that only the hotel manager spoke English, so any sort of tourist advice or bill queries were tough to get answered and they had to get the manager on the phone.

We ate out, as the food was very uninspiring. There was no hotel bar.

Not a great choice!
