“Nice hotel with good price”

Casa de Campo Hostal

We stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel is simple, nice, and clean. The view from this hotel is really nice. The price is not bad at all. The rooms can be really cold, you will need a heater for sure (with an extra charge). Avoid rooms under the restaurant because it can be really noisy until late at night. The breakfast is also good even though dinner is just okay. The staff are nice and helpful.

“Great little hotel with amazing view, just low on the service”

Casa de Campo Hostal

We stayed 4 nights before and after our walk to MAchu Pichu.
As all the tourit guide will state, there is a lot of steps in the hotel, but it's worth it! the whole set up with a lot of wood and flowers is beautiful. There are a lot of little terraces where to can enjoy the view and the sun. The rooms are simple, but cut and clean. It can be very cold, so you'll need to ask for a heater (at a charge).
We tried the restaurant once and would really not recommend it. I;m nt difficult, but this was pretty bad: the wait and the food. there was on very unpleasant lady at the front desk, too bad i don;t know her name... the rest of the staff was very nice and smilling.
other point, the hotel being on the hill, is very quiet!

“The best!!!”

Casa de Campo Hostal

Be prepared to climb some steps!!! But its worth it! Located on the fringe of Cusco halfway up the hill, the views are spectacular from the community "living" room. All the Coca tea you can drink to get over the altitude sickness. It was by far the best place I stayed in my trip through Peru. Don't fret over the fact that it isn't in the center of town. Half of the fun of the city is to walk through its tiny streets, and its not that far from the market and square (10 minute walk). It is close to the nearby ruins. The staff was very helpful and patient. If you are staying in Cusco, stay here!
