I stayed here for one night en route to Machu Picchu. The property has beautiful grounds with lush flowers, and the rooms are quite comfortable with all the usual amenities of a U.S. hotel. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant - steamed trout and veggies with wonderful homemade bread - and it was delicious and inexpensive. The hotel is literally 3 minutes by foot to the train station. I highly recommend the hotel.

“Cute hotel!”

The hotel, as others have mentioned, is very close to the train station but we were never disturbed by train noises. The room was very cute, with a nice, clean, and modern bathroom, and the property was beautifully landscaped with tons of gorgeous flowers in bloom! I found the hotel to be quiet and peaceful, and loved waking up to views of grazing alpacas from my window! The restaurant was very good and the complimentary breakfast had delicious fruit. The front desk organized a taxi for us and threw in a boxed lunch as well.

Our only complaints were that the beds were pretty hard, and we had some confusion with the front desk at check out. We were actually in a taxi outside of town when the hotel called our taxi driver and we had to come back as they apparently did not charge us properly for some items. They apologized and were very nice about it all, but it was very inconvenient. It didn't sour us on the hotel at all, but I would just advise you to be very careful and explicit when dealing with the front desk personnel.

This is a very beautiful and charming hotel at a perfect location. A very short walk to the train station, but far enough to keep you away from the early morning noise of trains.
Beautiful garden, beautiful room and great breakfast.
The staff are very nice and helpful, helped us to contact our travel agent several times. Free internet and even free printing.
The boss of the hotel was a memeber of the Peru volleyball team. You will see her pictures on the wall at the reception.
The room dose not have a TV but in a beautiful place like that, watching TV is such a waste of time.
Highly recommended!
