Stayed at the Skylodge for one night with our 2 teenaged kids. We stayed in a superior room.
The Skylodge was more worn than we expected and could have been cleaner. The beds were very well used and the pillows could hardly be described as "fluffy" as they say on the web site. I wished I had brought my own pillow cases as the linen, although probably washed looked dirty. There was a lot of mould in the shower. I suppose I expected minimal inclusions but in better condition.
The reception staff were very helpful and checked our next day transfers for us.
The general areas were as expected and the meal we had was adequate although for some reason the milkshakes' would take 12 minutes'.
I know the price is a consideration but still feel the accomodation should be clean.
I would look for somewhere better next time and would not mind paying more.

Skylodge is great value for money, we stayed in a superior room which was clean and comfortable. The staff are fantastic, the food is pretty good, especially the curries.

The best rooms are the ones in self contained 'villa's, they are old, but bigger than the hotel rooms. The facitilies are good, there are clean toilets and showers to use after you have checked out if you need to wait until later in the day for an airport transfer. The staff are happy for you to wait around the pool and use the hotel facilities as well.

Would definitely stay again, it's not a 5 start resort, but it is basic and comfortable.

I stayed two nights at the Skylodge after a week in the Yasawas. It was heaven to come back to hot water, air conditioning, clean room, and to have access to so many facilities!

The staff at check-in are very helpful and greeted me by name every time they saw me. The restaurant/bar is also really good -- the nightly curry dishes are fantastic.

There are more facilities & open-air chill out spots there than you will know what to do with, and I found it to be a great place to relax and catch up on some well-needed sleep.

Security was really tight and I felt very secure (which is a bit of a feat, in Nadi). The entrance is gated off. The airport is a very short taxi ride away and local buses can take you to town very easily.

If I am ever in Nadi again, I will definitely stay here!

The Skylodge is a good value for those needing a jumping point for a night either to or from the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the price is soft on the pocketbook. However, I would not recommend a stay of more than a day or two around Nadi. If you have the time, there are also affordable options off the main island.
