Nicely designed hotel, I think you call them art hotel or boutique hotel, have never stayed in a place like this.
The whole hotel is held in a flower theme, and usually I dont give much for designs of hotels, as I usually only sleep there.
paid around 155 Euro
My room was decorated with huge sunflowers on the wall. Check the hotels website the pictures are there. An inexplainable yet functional room and bathroom design.
Everything was clean, the location right in the middle of the shopping district. Very polite and helpful english speaking staff.
Minor downsides: because of all the nice gimmicks installed in the room, some apparently didnt work: the electric curtains didnt stop closing the motor just went on rampbling until having pushed the stop button a few times. There was a movement sensor for a light in front of the bathroom so that you didnt need to search for the switch. Yet I didnt figure out what movement it recognized. (though luckily it didnt start in the middle of night)
Only one more relevant downside: internet connection with WLAN was free, however, the connection was quite shaky (which may be due to the general situation of internet in Bulgaria, I couldnt judge)
But finally, the breakfast was the best I had for a very long time, made fresh on special order, a pleasantly decorated omelette. (more appeared to be possible from the menu, but didnt have so much time)
Will go again !
