My wife and I were on Nantucket for the weekend off-season and when we travel - dinner is a big event. We were not looking for a pub or jacket required night, but something in between. Arno's fit the bill. The decor was nice, with a mix of brick and reds with a dark wood bar and high ceilings. The menu wasn't extensive, but had some tasty selections. Our meals were prepared to order and were visually pleasing as well as tasty. In fact, we opted to return to Arno's the next night and had dinner at the bar. We ended up having desert and wine at the bar both nights, catching a bit of the baseball with a few other patrons. In all, it was just what we were looking for - good food and wine in a relaxed but nice setting.

Arno's is a cozy little restaurant with a limited but hearty menu. The do serve breakfast and, in particular, the buckwheat pancakes are very good. Prices are reasonable. It's a great place to grab some breakfast or lunch. It's a safe bet if you are just looking for a casual bite to eat.

“Light Fare on Main Street”

Arno's is a pleasant little spot located on Main Street with a warm and cozy atmosphere. We opted for some lighter menu items - a crabcake on mixed greens salad for my wife and a pork sandwich with cranberry BBQ sauce for me. My sandwich was good; the crabcake salad only average. A shared Apple Crisp a la mode dessert was tasty. The tab for dinner with two glasses of wine and two excellent cups of coffee was $65 excl gratuity.

“mice atmosphere, but terrible food and service”

Went to Arnos on our visit to Nantucket. While the atmosphere was very nice, the food and service was mediocre. The rolls were stale. The shrimp and scallop scampi had no taste (where was the garlic) and the fish was overcooked. The service was very poor. There are so many good restaurants on Nantucket, such as the Atlantic Cafe. Great food, great atmosphere. Scallop risotto was amazing. Don't waste your money at Arnos.

On busy Main street in Nantucket.
You must go and have the Lobster Bisque...incredible!
Great spot to stop for lunch.
