“A peaceful oasis in hectic Dubai”

Our time at Villa 47 was lovely. We spend 3 nights in Ancy's home, arriving late the first night after picking up our rental car. The Villa is located a short 5 minute drive from the airport, just make a U-Turn at Casablanca Rd. and then turn on the road past the Le Meridien and follow the little Map Ancy can send you.

The Villa is a spacious townhouse and the guest rooms are upstairs. You'll have an en suite private bath as well, which is great considering the reasonable price, which includes breakfast!!

The location is excellent, as I noted 5 mins from the airport and easily drivable to all points in Dubai. You could also take taxi's for cheap as well, I just happened to have a car while in town.

When you're in Dubai next be sure to give Ancy's guest house a try. I'm quite sure you'll find it an amazing value and a welcome change from large, impersonal hotels

“Friendly and good value for money B&B in expansive Dubai”

Lucky we found this very nice B&B on the internet. We stayed there for two nights in October and really enjoyed it. Spacious room, good beds, great breakfast (with your choice of either continental or home made Indian!), free internet access and very kind hosts. And all this for a fraction of the usual accommodation prices in expansive Dubai! E-mail reservation was easy and always helpful, and our actual stay was very pleasant. The location proved to be perfect, just about 5min from the airport, still close enough by taxi to major attractions, plus located in a nice and quiet residential area (which we really appreciated as a resting place away from busy and hectic Dubai!). If you are there, check out Cafe More (we loved it!), which is just 5min from Villa 47. Ask your hosts Ancy and Thomas, they will be happy to give you directions.
